Privacy Policy for Applicants

Binkies 3D feels it is important that your personal data is well protected. Everyone whose personal data we process, should be able to rely on us to carefully handle that data. This privacy policy is meant to inform you (the applicant) on how your personal data is being used.

 

1. What personal data do we process?

Binkies 3D gathers, stores and processes your personal data for the purpose of finding and selecting the right candidate for the role. Our selection process typically consists of one or more assessments, a career history form, several interviews and multiple references checks. Among other things we gather, store and process the following:

  • Personal details you provided (such as name, phone numbers, e-mail address, CV and cover letter);
  • Your assessment answers and results;
  • Your answers to the career history form;
  • Answers provided during the interviews;
  • Information provided by your references;

Please note that providing this information is entirely voluntary. However, under European data protection law we are required to inform you that, withholding personal data in your job application can give you a disadvantage in comparison to other candidates who are applying for the same role.

 

2. For which purpose do we process your personal data

Binkies 3D gathers, stores and processes your personal data for the purpose of finding and selecting the right candidate for the role. This included, but is not limited to:

  • Contacting and informing you about the progress and results of the selection process;
  • Evaluating you and selecting the best fitting candidate;
  • Improving and developing our selection process and corresponding statistical purposes;
  • If you want, keep you in a talent pool so you can be notified of relevant future job offers;


3. What is the legal basis for processing your personal data?

The legal basis for processing your personal data is (1) you provided us with permission to process this data, (2) we need this data to prepare a potential employment agreement between you and Binkies; and/or (3) we have a legitimate interest to process this data.

 

4. How long do we store applicant data?

We keep your information on file for a period of 12 months. At the end of the 12 months, or if you request us to do so earlier, all of the information associated to your application will be deleted.

 

5. Questions or requests?

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding your personal data. You can also contact us with requests to exercise your rights under European data protection law. Such rights include the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and object.
